Rules of the house

Updated: May 17, 2022

When confirming your booking, you are agreeing to the below rules of the house:

  • You must be completely fine with dogs, because our little rescue dog lives on the plot and spends her time hoping for cuddles from the guests!

  • No children under 10 allowed - there is a big (like 15 foot) drop off the side of the deck, and no railing.

  • We take no responsibility for the guests during their stay, especially when it comes to the deck

  • There are wild animals that live in the area including hyenas, leopards, snakes and more. This truly is a blessing, especially so close to Nairobi! Inside the house and garden you are completely safe, however it is not advised for people to walk about on the rocks below the house at night - you could easily fall or get hurt by an animal. Rangi's companion, another rescue dog, was eaten by a leopard last month (August 2021) and so have several of the goats, over the years.

  • Dogs are permitted at the house, but please keep them off the furniture and near to the house, due to the wildlife. Please make sure they are nice to Rangi and the staff.

  • Check in is from 3pm and check out is before 11am
