Our camp is set in Lolldaiga Hills, a private conservancy in Northern Kenya, which overlooks the slopes of snow-capped Mt. Kenya. Our beautiful canvas camp is situated deep in the bush, overlooking an often-frequented watering hole, and is the perfect place to start your safari.
During your stay make sure to walk, drive, climb and camp in lush woodland or dry savanna in search of lions, leopards and elephants or leave the wildlife behind and spend time learning from Maasai elders their lessons on leadership, courage and tradition - be prepared to discover something about yourself too.
When the day is done, venture back to camp in one of our vintage Series I or II Land Rovers for a night under canvas.
Superb wildlife, stunning landscapes, great adventures
The Safari Series is situated on the stunning 50,000 acre private conservancy of Lolldaiga Hills. With a variety of different landscapes in one conservancy, you will cross through rocky green outcrops, dry arid deserts and one of Kenya’s biggest cedar forests. This varied topography means every day a new adventure, full of new wildlife to view. Of course, the classics are right here on the doorstep (literally - elephants drinking at the camp’s dam almost every morning) - nothing is more special that spotting your first elephant, zebra or giraffe - but also striped hyena, aardvark, gerenuks and other more rare creatures. Lolldaiga Hills also has a big population of leopards which we see and hear all the time.
And then, how to view these beautiful animals? Walk, hike, drive your own vintage car, be taken by our guide into the bush, kayak and more… Our world is truly yours to explore however you want!
